Domiciliary care, often referred to as home care, is largely for people who require a little support with day-to-day living be they elderly, disabled or even younger and in need of some help. This visiting service provides trained carers to clients who make regular visits, providing personal care, domestic assistance and companionship. At Abacare, we offer hourly home and live-in care services across Central and North Wales in the privacy of a client’s own home.
Dementia sufferers may find live-in care a far better alternative to long-term residential care. With one-to-one bespoke support, our clients do not need to leave the familiar surroundings of their homes and enjoy 24 hour support with the assurance that the carer has the skills needed to encourage independence, help with tasks and chores that are becoming more difficult, show kindness and offer understanding in a dignified and professional manner.
Working for Abacare not only presents a great opportunity to provide much-needed support to some of the most needy in the community but also set out on a new career path or build on an already-established career.
We offer competitive salaries along with full training, flexible working hours, paid mileage and travel time as well as provide full support from our local teams. With both home care and live-in care positions available, you’ll have the choice of a number of different types of roles.
