Did you know that as an Abacare employee, you could train in social care up to level five standards, which would lead to you having a Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services.
Working in care is a commitment and could be a vocation in life, allowing you to learn new skills and gain qualifications that you might not have had the opportunity to gain elsewhere.
Staff training is one of the biggest incentives and most important aspects of becoming a part of the team for us and we are able to offer you the opportunity to train up to the highest standards.
Passing the diploma means you will be at a leadership stage in your career and can go on to become Operations Executives and Registered Managers.
Some of the mandatory units that must be carried out in order to achieve the diploma include the ability to safeguard and protect vulnerable adults. Individuals must also show they can manage health and social care practice and lead and manage a team within a health and social care setting.
By undertaking the diploma you will also be able to develop procedures and practice in relation to concerns and complaints and assess individuals in a health and social care setting.
As well as gaining qualifications, you will also receive full training in first aid, health and safety, food safety, infection control, handling medication and moving and handling service users.
Many people who have joined the team have turned their job into a vocation. We are currently recruiting for carers across Wales so if you are interested in a career and training with us, you should call 01248 677 919 for more details.
