Expert care will continue as normal in ‘local lockdown’
We are reassuring our service users and their families that care will continue as normal despite the announcement of a ‘local lockdown’ in Caerphilly recently (September 2020).
The recent local lockdown affects some of the service users our carers from our Ebbw Vale branch look after, but we want them to know, it’s business as usual when it comes to providing them with the care they need.
Our staff have been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic, complete with personal protective equipment (PPE), helping to keep people safe, and this won’t change during any local lockdowns.
We’re ensuring our service users continue to take their prescribed medication and we’re caring for their physical and emotional well-being every day. All this helps prevent adding additional pressure to the NHS and its resources, which we know could come under considerable strain again in the coming months, as we head towards winter and a potential second wave of the virus.
