If you or an elderly or vulnerable person you know is finding the festive season a real struggle, or you feel down and need to hear a friendly voice during the festivities, then we have put together a list of helplines you can contact.

The Community Advice and Listening Line (C.A.L.L) offers a free 24-hour confidential listening and support helpline for Wales.
The Silver Line – 0800 4 70 80 90
The Silver Line is a free, 24-hour, confidential helpline for older people. It provides information,friendship and advice to older people.

Contact the Elderly organises monthly afternoon tea parties for small groups of older people, who live alone, offering a regular and vital friendship link every month.
Age UK Cymru – 0800 434 6105
Age UK Cymru’s ‘Call in Time’ is a free telephone befriending service, matching volunteers with older people.
Samaritans – 116 123 or Welsh Language line on 0808 164 0123
The Samaritans offers 24-hour emotional support, every day of the year for anyone feeling distressed. The Welsh Language line is available between 7pm – 11pm seven days a week.
