Julie and Niki chosen as Care Workers of the Month

Julie McKay and Niki Holbrook, who have both worked for us since 2013, were chosen as Care Workers of the Month  for September, 2019 at our Ebbw Vale office, for their hard work and dedication.

Samantha Price, Branch Manager at our Ebbw Vale office, said: “We selected Julie and Niki as our Care Workers of the Month as they have gone above and beyond the call of duty by covering extra shifts and working across all areas.

“They have proved to be devote to our company and the staff and customers they interact with on daily basis. We’d like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to them both for all of their hard work.

“We feel it is so important to show appreciation for our staff. It keeps moral high and it is just another reason why care work is so rewarding.

“If there’s anyone out there who is as hard working, kind and honest as Julie and Niki, they should seriously consider a career in care.”

Julie said: “It’s great to have been awarded Care Worker of the Month. Working in care is a demanding job and everyone works extremely hard. When we need to cover shifts or do extra shifts, we know that it’s just something that has to be done and we get on with it.

“We know that other staff members are just as ready to step up and take on extra work as much as we are. We’re both thrilled to have been recognised this month.”
